Privacy Policy — RupeeAI
This policy explains how the RupeeAI app, published on Google Play by Anomy The Alpha ("we", "us"), handles your information. In short: RupeeAI reads your bank SMS on your phone, builds your expense book on your phone, and never sends your SMS or your money data anywhere.
1. What the app reads
SMS messages. With your permission, RupeeAI reads SMS from banks, card issuers, lenders, payment apps and meal-card providers (for example Pluxee) to find payments, money received, card bills, EMIs, balances and due dates. Messages from people in your contacts are not used. The app also listens for new bank SMS so it can add a payment as soon as it arrives.
Your name. The app may read your first name from the greeting in bank SMS ("Dear …") only to greet you in the app. It stays on your phone.
2. Where your data is processed and stored
- All reading and sorting, including the AI that suggests categories, runs on your phone.
- Your payments, categories and answers are stored only on your phone, in the app's private storage.
- We have no server and no account system. We cannot see your data.
3. What we collect or share
Nothing. We do not collect, upload, sell or share your SMS, transactions, balances, account numbers, name, contacts or location. The app has no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking.
4. Permissions

5. Keeping or deleting your data
You can erase everything at any time from Settings → Erase all data in the app, or by uninstalling the app. Either removes all of it from your phone; there is no copy anywhere else.
6. Security
Your data stays inside the app's private storage on your phone, which other apps cannot read. Because nothing is sent to us, there is no server copy that could be exposed.
7. Children
RupeeAI is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly handle children's data.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
